Possible
Was having lunch at the beetle and wedge. Someone was mowing the field of a large house the other side of the river and flushed a bird from a reed bed to a nearby tree line. Was approx 150m away so hard to see but size was between an egret and a heron and it was a light brown colour similar to the outer feathers of a barn owl. Could be possible bittern.
