male with female, they've appeared in our reedbed 2 , think 3, years in a row now. Think the reed cut channel design is attracting them plus the ongoing scrub clearance from reedbeds making them bigger every year.Won't be long before one or a few stay the Winter?? plenty of reedbeds around lake and a particularly sheltered lake, due to the steep quarry banks.
