2S Ingram101From 149 Monks Way in Eastleigh. Aug 2000-Mar 2019. Now moved so not going to improve on this total. Best birds were Rose-coloured Starling, Red-rumped Swallow & Waxwing. Close with Avocet, Goosander & Hen Harrier but my feet weren't in the garden :-( Mark Edgeller has seen a great White Egret fly over my house :-)08/04/2019

9P J Hack94Have lived in Nursling for many years. Garden is in the area bordering Romsey Golf Course, Nightingale Wood and adjacent farmland. All birds seen - none 'heard only'. Includes flyovers and species observed from (but not actually in) the garden. Best birds include : Golden Oriole, Corncrake, Black Kite, Honey-buzzard, Osprey, Hoopoe, R-r Swallow, Ring Ouzel, LS Woodpecker, Waxwing and Nightingale.05/02/2022

=P D Winter80Small Rownhams Garden from Feb 1984. Felt a lot more rural then! In, over or from. Trees block the view from the back but a good view of the sky from the front. First dates given but inaccurate as I only started recording at age 40 in 1993 after retiring from football - and then only noted more interesting stuff for a while. Cuckoo the only heard only. Waxwing and Woodcock possibly the best birds.13/09/2024

Best birds: 2 Woodlarks on the patio during a period of snow along with a Meadow Pipit; Redstart and Black Redstart. Treecreeper newest and somewhat unexpected addition moving through amongst a tit flock.06/01/2024
