Still flying high over garden collecting and carrying food. Interestingly nesting in big house garden but flying long distance into fields regularly for food. Prob just better food supply but like to think it's a tactic, harder for Corvids to spot them as opposed to Blackbirds that collect close to nest in gardens making it easy for Magpies to locate nest.
