| 08:30 | Conservative estimate based on count of birds over the water. When first seen there was a similarly large flock in the air that didn't seem to come down so could have been as many as 150-200 birds. Arrived c8:30, most gone by 9:00. All gone by 9:30. Edit: revised total to be more representative - 100 over the water, a similar sized flock in the air when birds first arrived seemed to go back to the river, c30 Commons arrived at the same time as these were last to leave in a tight flock - so 100+100-30=170. | |||
