| 12:00 | A distant accipiter was picked up over and north of Milford on sea. It circled but then descended towards the sea and appeared to be crossing the Solent and heading straight for the island - at which point I lost sight of it. However a bit later a sprawk was seen close off of Headon, which was also seen to cross the Solent from our coastline to the mainland - and presumably the same bird. With S.Mcandrew. | |||
