Absolute minimum, this time in two distinct flocks, the smaller one of probably five hundred birds off the viewpoint and the huge one two miles off, with GBB, Meds etc mixed in over a shoal of most likely Bass again. Hard to Id stuff at that distance. Attracted one of our WTE for an hour which caught a fish.

all ages. Minimum, an amazing sight of at least this number and the other gulls etc. milling about over a huge shoal of Bass and probably Sprats as their prey, between a quarter & half a mile off. The flock was over at least a quarter of a mile long minimum, probably nearer half a mile. Numbers estimated from photo counts. A couple of commercial fishermen were pulling up Bass with lures. ID with 30x 'Scope.
