At 11.12 an adult showing perfect plumage for a Cape Gannet came by, ie: All black secondaries and tail, a description will be sent to BBRC. imm. A cursory look at the flat calm sea at last knockings revealed a piebald imm. gannet way out wheeling about over something, it turned out to be a harbour Porpoise heading East but turning back a couple of times, the Gannet followed it for ten minutes at least, another porpoise was closer. I've not seen this before. [Ventnor].
