ad. Still unsure of spp. Seen well through 'scope and showed extensive orange on bill and head shape of fabalis. too far away for conclusive id. though. Seen again in the afternoon but light was poorer. Will try again tomorrow morning. They are in the field NW of Pagham with Rookley Park in the background but had been further West and in a field nearer the old railway until scared by a woman with five out of control yappy dogs.

On fields towards Rookley Park. Others have got a closer look and the ID has now been confirmed as Tundra Bean Geese. SZ518844.
