| 11:50 | 2. Nothing unexpected you would think being on the River Test - however, the track/road is currently under a foot or so of water that put paid to my bike ride. Whilst considering my options a kingfisher plunged from on over head tree into the flood that is normally a road and continued to feed for about 5 minutes. It was koined by a sccond bird doing the same. I have no idea what they were feeding on , maybe grubs or even fish from the overflow. At least 6 chiffchaffs also seen and a steady stream of swallows.If you are going near the site in the next few days take careand may be wear waders od good wellies! | |||
