Close with Avocet, Goosander & Hen Harrier but my feet weren't in the garden :-( Mark Edgeller has seen a great White Egret fly over my house :-)08/04/2019

Includes flyovers and species observed from (but not actually in) the garden. First dates given but inaccurate as I only started recording at age 40 in 1993 after retiring from football - and then only noted more interesting stuff for a while. Cuckoo the only heard only. Waxwing and Woodcock possibly the best birds.24/04/2023

Best birds: 2 Woodlarks on the patio during a period of snow along with a Meadow Pipit; Redstart and Black Redstart. Treecreeper newest and somewhat unexpected addition moving through amongst a tit flock.06/01/2024
