COLOUR RINGED: White ring with Black code 3234 Metal Ring No. Bruxelles E944228 Ringed on 20/05/2018 aged >3cy at Antwerp, BELGUIM by F.Salmon. 114 days since ringing. Previous sighting on 27/08/2018 also on Ryde East Sands.

ad. 90 at least in the pasture fields either side of the road just before the Chine car park. A further 220+ in the fields past Grange Chine and South of Thorncross farm.(Counted from video). These flocks seem to be a regular Winter feature now,and can also be found North of Thorncross farm and surrounding areas.

ad. Ninety at least in the pasture fields both side of the road approaching the Chine car park. The second flock of 220 plus was where I videoed the 410 flock earlier this Winter between Marsh Green + Barns High. They were mixed with BHG's and Common Gulls and feed in these fields and further inland North of Thorncross Farm.

An absolute minimum gathered offshore with BHG's. Too busy looking for our elusive BFG to count them. A very large number of the smaller gulls had gathered off Seagrove bay as dusk approached at high tide, it would be well worth a count up of Meds one evening.

Approx' this number from the car seen from the milly road, a good population of Wintering adults seem to like this area in the vicinity of Thorncross Farm.
