An adult and two juveniles foraging in buddleia and taking aphids. Only the third record for my garden in Honey Lane. Also a family party of 8 Blackbirds an adult male and female and six fully grown independant young. An incredible survival rate particularly given the feline population in the area.

Two adults and three fledged young in my garden at Honey Lane. Most unusual. Also 8 Blackbirds two adults and six fully fledged young feeding in my recently mown garden. This is a brood that nested in my shed. An incredible survival rate.

Seen crossing Crow Lane. Then watched hawking around lights at the Raptor and Reptile Centre car park. Appeared to be taking moths attracted to the lights. An odd place to see a Nightjar.

About 150 metres south of Picket Post Services viewed from Ringwood Road. It was carrying a small passerine which from brief views looked like a Meadow Pipit.

At least 2 very probably 3+ on heath opposite the Rising Sun Pub. One in flight over the Brockenhurst Road.

From Castleman Trail concrete bridge. Two juveniles and the third in full breefing plumage. Also 9 Little Egret, single Cattle Egret in flight, a Red Kite, good numbers of young Coot, Mooren and Mallards. Pair of Mute Swan with 8 cygnets.

Seen on the marsh from the bench on the corner of Butts Lagoon. Both later flew towards Keyhaven lagoon.
