| 07:42 | the Dongas, Flew off from roughly the pin, SE along path by the side of the golf-course. I chased it but couldn't refind it and then T Jordan searched until 10 but couldn't refind. Small woodpecker, brown colouring, bouncing woodpecker flight. SU490274. | |||

| 13:18 | Seen by 5 of us from canal path near public toilet. Absolutely clear views as it sat atop bush less than 10 metres. Within 10 minutes over 20 birders present but if seen would have been skulking in low vegetation. | |||

| 13:05 | On small bush close to entry point opposite public facilities where seen by half-dozen others in very open position before disappearing left into vegetation. many others suddenly present looking for bird. many photos taken. | |||

| 14:05 | Apologies for not posting earlier, but I was logged out of this site and I didn't know my user name nor my password so had to wait until I got home. Wryneck along its regular path but nearer the entrance to the west side. Sat in a willow tree, obscured by leaves and branches for quite a while. | |||

| 12:05 | Resting in lower part of small, almost bare, tree close to footpath running alongside shore and almost opposite public toilet block close to entry to said footpath. Stayed long enough for quick photo plus one also taken by Rebecca Hitchcock before the bird westwards towards Reserve entry. Others previously present without finding bird! | |||
